He has been engaged in the research of key technologies and applications of information physical fusion system for a long time, especially the application research of electronic information and data mining technology in intelligent agriculture. At present, he is mainly engaged in the research of agriculture 4.0, intelligent farm, agricultural big data, agricultural robot, Internet of vehicles and intelligent agricultural equipment control system. The disciplines involve electronics, communication, information, information processing, data mining, UAV, etc. Important research achievements have been made in (1) design methods of high-performance embedded systems, (2) agricultural Internet of things and (3) intelligent agricultural equipment. Relevant achievements have promoted the implementation of 4.0 intelligent farm of south of the Five Ridges.
The research directions include (1) information perception and wireless transmission method in intelligent agriculture, (2) large area rapid agricultural situation monitoring platform based on UAV, (3) crop growth and nutrient element content extraction method based on data mining, (4) orchard environment monitoring and expert system based on cloud, (5) precision irrigation intelligent decision and control system, etc. He has presided over scientific research projects for many times and won national and provincial awards. He has a long-term scientific research cooperation with many foreign and domestic universities, and is a review expert of many international SCI / EI well-known journals. He often guide students to win national awards such as national scholarship, Challenge Cup, National Undergraduate Electronic Design Competition, Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction, etc.
